I am kind of a lady who loves to speak in front of vibrant audience, be the Critics, be the Tycoons, be the Seniors, be the Admirers, be the Layman.
I may not be perfect already ,but i keep laddering myself to be a perfectionist. One day i will be for sure.To support this statement let me retrieve my memory for you. Back in my graduation ,I was a techie and had lots of Technical,creative and innovative stuff swimming in my brain. When it comes to public speaking of ideas, I read rules, books named "Art of public Speaking ", imbibed the veteran's suggestions.But none of them were completely helpful to me.I trembled, panted inside.
If I can't express all that i know then,i might get evicted..To Come over this, with the time i had, I started practicing in my mirror which usually showed me how beautiful i am now showed me how dreadful i can be .Slowly it became a habit and that habit has become part of my everyday routine.Any idle time slot i get,queued it for my public speaking exercise.Days went by ,months said bye ,years farewelled ,i was slowly becoming the lady that i have always wanted.Now i have no fear of audience or the evaluators (judges you may call).When i am speaking something ,I feel like i am the boss.I may speak wrong,but i still speak with confidence .I keep practicing the same for the rest of my life to see myself improve day by day.
As per me The definition of public speaking and mastering of it is
"From The people you see To Make them all see you "
